The NOW Society invests in the musical and artistic communities of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and abroad. Touring, conferences, workshops, and intensives connect NOW to the world of improvistaion. Varied genres, mediums, and generations provide a wealth of diversity, enthusiasm and engagement. Connecting with improvisers world-wide and mentoring emerging improvisors is an important part of the NOW vision. We are committed to collaboration and outreach, and to inclusiveness.

Circuit': A Canadian Touring Network for Improvising Musicians

Here and NOW

The Here and NOW improv series, currently at the Prophouse cafe, is a collaboration and mentorship with emerging professional musicians and post-secondary students from Vancover Community College, Capilano University and Simon Fraser University. It is one of NOW's new and exciting projects. read more
